My clothes have gone in another direction. Instead of making the shirt, I decided to wear my favorite T-Shirt. It looks really cool. And also for tonight, I’m wearing a very simple outfit. A brown tank underneath a white Aero polo, jeans, and those new shoes. Puca necklace and wood bead bracelets. Very simple. But I need simplicity to get people ready for the amazing outfits I put together Saturday and Sunday. :] Anyway, I’m gonna get some pics up soon. Of the two outfits for Saturday and Sunday. I can’t decide which to wear first. Sunday should be the best outfit since I’m performing three times. When I get them up. I expect mucho commentanas.

Project Runway

I watched a taped recording of last night’s project runway. I can’t wait for next week’s. I hear it’s going to be juicy and jolly good. For the first time every someone gets kicked off the show. Not from loosing a challenge. They break a rule and they get KICKED off the show. I bet it’s Keith. He’s ridiculously arrogant. So arrogant he has fights with the judges because he thinks he’s so amazing. It’s horrible. He’s a great designer but a horrible horrible person. Ah well. Aren’t we all? No not really. Keith…gahh…he’s just so gahh…Oh well. Who cares about Keith? I’m still all for Uli and Micheal. If you haven’t ever watched Project Runway, plan on doing it next week. If you don’t like it, well, you suck. =]

I got back from band practice about 2 hours ago (not band like marching band it’s a rock band for a huge youth group in my area called oneighty). I talked with Caitlin, who is this awesome individual rocker girl. We talked about skateboarding and longboarding. She says I should try it. She also says she can tell I’m a boarder. Not a skater though. She says skaters are like label followers who are addicted to their Zero board and wear Adio Hoodies nonstop. She says boarders are just people that skateboard, not trying to hand with the skater crowd. They just do it for fun. I asked her how. She says because she can tell I always encorporate a few pieces into my outfit. And also she caught me skateboarding at camp. Ha Ha! That brightened my day. Someone other than my best friends and guy friends noticed the hard work and effort I put into my personal appearance. I really have an interest in Caitlin. I get a lot of my inspiration from her. Anyway, sewing news.

The pants are 100% done. I cuffed them and detailed the back pockets. The top though, is not going so well. I messed up on the white shirt which cost 3.50 and yet my mom was furious. Sigh. I am not going to fit it myself. I’m going to buy one fitted this time and simply add on the buttons and a teeny bit of paint splatter in the corner. KAY? Everyone happy now? Good.

Yay! I went shopping today. Old Navy, baby. =] Look at the hot stuff I bought.

With a crisp white tank underneath, creamy pearls, and classic jeans, this makes the perfect outfit for being on stage this Saturday. Sunday will be a surprise. Let’s just say it’s a little something I made myself. Teehee. Oh okay, but keep it a secret. I cut some hideous plaid flare pants into adorable bermudas and I’m making a totally awesome shirt. It’s a fitted white tee that I am going to splatter with fabric paint and sew random buttons in random places and put some lace and ribbon here and there. Then some classic black converse low-riders. Hot hot hot! See I’m not all shop! I have sewing talents, too. And many other talents. May I name a few? I’m smart, funny, amazing, cool, ridiculously gorgeous…haha just kidding. No really. Ha just kidding. Or am I? [[Dork alert]]

Anyhoo I also bought some khaki shorts for school. Variety, my friend. No more having only baggy cargo capris and pants as the only types of khakis in my wardrobe. No, honey. I have cordoroy pants, pleated minis, miniskirts, cropped bermudas, cut-off bermudas, cropped shorts, baggy cargo capris, cropped pants, eyelet skirts. Oh baby this year is gonna rock. No more hideous Walker Polos. White fitted polos this year. No more having like 3 shoes i can actually wear. No, I have a whole collection. No more long pearls. I have a collection of different lengths, beads, colors, styles. No more ugly cheap binders and notebooks. No, my friend. This time I have the Chocolatte collection. I’m 13, in 8th grade, and so much more mature. I’m INVINCIBLE! My Teen Vogue issue just came in. It stunk. I am writing a complaint letter. I’m an IT-girl so they can’t ignore it. They will actually acknowledge my complaint letter telling them everything in the issue was useless and un-fashion related. They will put it in their next issue and they’re next issue will be soaked in affordable, cute, versatile pieces that everyone loves. Not strange boots from planet Jupiter. Not $457 ballet flats. Instead, next issue will not feature only good buys, but fashion ADVICE. How to create a good outfit. For the poor and unfortunate. If someone took this August issue as their first TeenVogue it is a horribly bad impression. They will think it’s only for rich girls that take everything Marc Jacobs does too seriously. I mean don’t get me wrong. Marc Jacobs. Dude. He’s frickin amazing. But some of his stuff is just to give you an idea of what mainly the season is going to be about. He expects you to tone it down. I don’t think Teen Vogue realizes that. Maybe Lauren needs to have a little talk with the editor. Give her some advice. Ya know? Oh by the way. Lauren…from the Hills. Yeah. Still don’t know what I’m talking about? Get the remote and go to MTV. Educate yourself. Kay dudes. I’m gonna peace. Get myself ready for practice tonight. Eat some food. That stuff. Love ya.

anxious to shop

I don’t think my mother and I think the same way. I don’t think most mother-daughter relationships think the same way, but in my case its a bit more unconventional. If it were up to me, I would shop everyday and every chance I could. I can’t wait until I get my driver’s license so I don’t have to nag my mom day after day until she gives me a ride to the mall. Or atleast until I’m allowd to walk to the mall myself. It’s like 2 minutes away from my house. Also, I would love to venture off to different malls. I have been to my mall so many times that 40% of the store managers either know my name, are friends with me, or recognize me. At least that is for the actual clothes…accessories…shoes type stores. My mother calls me a “shopoholic”. I think she’s just jealous that I have just amazing style and everytime I go shopping I come back home with ahhhdorable clothes…AND they were bargain buys. My mother has molted me into a bargain shopper. No $50 jeans. No. I have to look in the clearance sections which takes me even longer because the reason they are cheap is because they don’t fit right and it would go quicker if I were just allowd to buy the $50 jeans that make me look like a goddess. But whatever. I’m not complaining. Much. Atleast my dad is generous to use his free time to go shopping with me when he’s not using it to take a nap. He says he doesn’t mind because he wishes he could have done stuff like this when I were younger. Yay 10 hours a day job! I mean like, now he works from home and whenever he wants to, but I bet you when I’m 15 and it really counts for my parents to take me shopping, they will have been worn out and they already made up for all the times they never got to spend time with me when I was a child. Ah well. Anyway, my mother thinks that kids should only have to go shopping once a year, or when every good clothing item is ruined and they must all be replaced. I, on the other hand, must shop when I’ve already worn all my outfits and repeated them once, which of course is horrifying. My mother says that kids my age repeat outfits all the time, and many hundreds of times. Um, no, not really. Maybe kids two years younger. Not even really. Maybe 7-year-olds repeat all they’re little Walmart outfits that they play in and get speghetti sauce on. But what do they know? They think Florida is a country for God’s sake. Anyway, yesterday I went uniform shopping. Which is something we NEED to do. I wasn’t just going to go so I could buy a striped cami from Forever21. Or was I? No just kidding =D I was ready to go at 11AM but by the time my mom was ready at 3PM she got horendously sick. So me and my dad left to go shopping at 4PM. We didn’t do half bad. I bought a white Aeropostale polo, an adorable khaki mini skirt from Justice, and cuffed khaki bermudas. Our uniform is white/hunter green/maroon polos and khaki bottoms. But the hunter green and maroon are impossible to find unless you buy the actual uniform shirts. Which I refuse to do. They are ugly beyond belief. But who cares? I’ll strut the school with Abercrombie Polos and DKNY shorts. I even cut up actual school pants from like Target or something that my mom bought me last year and made them into one of those destroyed miniskirts with the fray at the bottom. This year will be grand. I already have 4 hoodies that are CUTE for winter. Versus last year with the quickly out of style khaki military jacket, black blazer, and monkey hoodie from like JCpenney’s or something. I have my Nike running shoes for track, AbercrombieKids cargo pants, makeup, purse, skateboard, school clothes, new GossipGirls book…all I really need or actually WANT as my mother calls it is a new backpack and some slipon Keds. Of course I pay for my wants. Thats just being spoiled if I had my parents pay for every little think I wanted. What I WANT is a new outfit for my performance this Saturday. I would prefer three because I am peforming in the oneighty band Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But oh well. I’ll just “wear what I have” as mom calls it. All I really want is a cute T-shirt. Not graphic tee with Etnies or Aeropostale on it. I mean a cute screened tee with a skull or polkadotted pattern. Because all my cutest stuff is tanks or hoodies and all my T-shirts are far from extremely fashionable which is what I’m looking for. I can’t wear tanks because this is at a church and it isn’t MODEST. No hoodies because it gets hot on stage. I think. Hmmm. Friday I’ll wear a hoodie. Saturday I’ll wear my favorite Tee and a mini– oops no miniskirts either. Or shorts. Fine. Cut-off bermudas. Ahh what has this world come to? I am itching to go shopping tomorrow. Because…

A] It’s actually with a friend this time (tori(i do shop with friends a lot but only on weekends usually))

B] It’s a different mall than Westfield, it’s University.

C] I am DYING to go to Forever21 and Old Navy.

D] Because I LOVE to shop. =]

So there you have it. I guess I am pretty much a major shopoholic. But I don’t care. Sue me. Put me in the tabloids. Actually I wouldn’t mind that one. Ha ha. Yeah I’m a dork. Shutup. Here’s some inspiration.

Currently I am listening to Put Your Records on by Corrine Bailey Rae. She’s like amazingly amazing. She barely tops these totally amazing shoes I saw that I saw in the Alloy catalog. I wanna get them for school. They are ahhhmazing.

But the smallest size is 6! ARGH! Why must I be so small? With size 4.5 shoes and size 12 clothes and barely fit into XS at teen stores. ASGDJHSAGDJHG. Calm, Katrina, calm. It’s alright. And you know it. But something is screwed up with wordpress. It’s making me stay on center. I want to be aligned left. WHY IS THE WORLD OUT TO GET ME?! But as Corinne Bailey Rae says, put your records on. That’s what I’m doing. It’s not helping much. Bleh. I’m a dud. Bleh. Oh well, at least it’s nice and serene in my dad’s office. Pretty paintings, beach stones in pretty vases, clean white walls. Very rela-AHH! No what happened to Corinne? Why is my stupid iPod playing Coldplay? Don’t get me wrong. I like them. But when I’m tired or I need an energy boost. Not when I’m trying to relax. GORSH. There. Some nice Falling UP. They’re an indie christian band. Gotta love em. They make you feel like you are at the ocean at night or dancing in a meadow at dusk. Except like for the ocean part you gotta minus the sharks that come out to mate. Don’t ask me how I know these things. Florida does that to you. And it gets you stressed. There are so many people. No place to just be. Too much noise and cars and city. Well where I live. Tampa. Anyway, I’m probably boring you to death. I know I am. WHY! OH WHY! If this is the first post you are reading on my confessions blog you are probably thinking how horribly boring I am, with ramblings and blahblah. Oh i fixed that allignment problem! YAY ME! Anyway I should probably shutup now. I’m not making this post any better. It’s officially the worst post in my blog. Yes. ASUHDLKAJSHDKJSH.
